Before I had any right to dismiss Twihards or criticize the psychologically unhealthy relationship model that Bella Swan and Edward Cullen present, I felt obliged to read the books. So I did. All four novels, one novella, and an incomplete document in portable format. The content lived down to my expectations, but I was unprepared for how poorly crafted the saga is. Elaborating About Mormon Moisture

Moist Meyer Examples:  ebony, constant, thirsty, trickle, traitor, filling

Anonymous: Hi Dana, I am a Mormon […] Oh, and the moisture thing? Bizarre but true.

Anonymous 2: […] In regards to the question whether overuse of the term “moisture” has anything to do with Meyer’s religion, it might. But it probably in large part relates to her being from the rocky mountain region. To expound, we experience lots of drought, and praying for rain is pretty common. But, I suppose in an effort not to alienate snow and sleet, we just pray for “moisture” in general. It’s cultural affectation that we kind of laugh about.

Anonymous 3: We’re happy about any water in the environment, from dew to downpour. Thank God for moisture!

Anonymous 4: "Moisture" and Other Words That Are Pseudo-Sacred
