Anonymous asked you: this blog is gay. ur gay.
Is that meant to be an insult? It’s not insulting.
Anonymous asked you: Do you get bored of doing this? I enjoy your rapier wit and fine grasp of grammatical nuances, but sometimes I wonder if it gets boring to have to read the same tripe over and over and over again.
Astonishingly, the series continues to up the what-the-fuck ante, so I always have upcoming scenes I want to discuss. When I get bored, it’s usually because a particular scene drags, or I’m procrastinating over a post that’s problematic but not interesting. Even if my attention wanders every now and then, I’m fairly confident I’ll stick with it to the end of Breaking Dawn. How else will I get to bitch about the ending?
Anonymous asked: […] Also, my English teacher thinks she should read Twilight because Wuthering Heights is referenced so it must be a good book. Help?
Wuthering Heights was also mentioned on an episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Tell your teacher to draw conclusions more carefully.
Anonymous asked: Why did you name your kitten “Katniss”?
Boyfriend and I made all the kittens in one litter fight to the death to determine which would be our pet, so we named the winner “Katniss.” Also, she’s a cat, and we thought “Katniss” had a certain cattiness to it.
Anonymous asked: I love this tumblr. I have a question: do you (or does anyone else) find it strange how WELL Edward can “read minds”? I feel that for the most part, when I’m thinking… it’s not in perfectly clear and in full sentences that are nearly always relevant to what’s going on. How is it that no one seems to be off daydreaming whenever Edward wants to listen in? Am I just more A.D.D. than the characters in Twilight?! HELP!
When he needs specific answers, he probably dazzles people into concentrating on what he wants them to concentrate on. Haven’t you heard? VampMeyers can do anything. He might be “hearing” those daydream-ish/irrelevant thoughts without broadcasting them, since those thoughts would be … well…. irrelevant. Besides, I’m not sure the brains in the Twilight universe work at all, so we certainly can’t expect the characters’ brains to work the way human brains do.
Anonymous asked you: Do you like reading books written by Meg Cabot? (I am just curious) —R.K
I have not read any Meg Cabot.
Anonymous asked you: where are you from? why was time out Dubai interviewing you? It just seems a little random….
I’m from Ohio originally. I currently live in Louisiana. I don’t have any personal connections to Doha. I think the interviewer just likes RwV.
grammar/wit/self-assured (and rightly so) kickass hero!
To the anon with...English teacher: I am totally behind her reading the books.
time someone takes
not-so-subtly clothing her characters in classic literature,...the second. A while back,...
